The Infused Glacial Originium Slug is a normal enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Episode 06.
Description
- An infected wild creature native to colder environments that has become unstable due to assimilating a large amount of Originium into its abdomen. Upon death, they will explode and freeze nearby Operators. Due to their low intelligence, they are easily controlled by Yeti Squadron members for various tactical purposes.
- Upon death, deals large physical damage in an area and applies Cold to all affected targets.

A derivative of Infused Originium Slugs that can be found in the arctic regions of Terra, Infused Glacial Originium Slugs are functionally identical with one notable difference: their explosion upon defeat deals lower damage (2× ATK instead of Infused Originium Slugs' 4×) and inflicts cold for 10 seconds. As such, exercise caution before defeating Infused Glacial Originium Slugs; while their explosion is not as dangerous as Infused Originium Slugs, the cold effect it inflicts will lower the victims' DPS and can also give an opportunity for Yeti Squadron enemies to deal more damage in case it freezes them.
